The gospel that saves is the gospel that grows. Nehemiah 9 ESV

Have you ever wondered if there is more to your walk with Jesus than just reading a chapter of the Bible every day, telling God what you want Him to do, going to church every Sunday, and living a "moral" life until you die? Well the good news is there is ABSOLUTELY so much more! When you first believed the Gospel and started following Jesus, that wasn't the end - that was JUST the beginning. Similar to how your wedding day wasn't the “end” but the first day of your "happily ever after," so it is with Jesus. He has SO much more in store for us, not only in Heaven but also here, right now, on this Earth. The only question that remains is do you want it?

Reflection Questions:

  1. Sometimes we forget how bad our lives "used" to be before meeting Jesus. How can we keep a mindset of thankfulness/awe and yet not dwell on the hurtful memories of the past?

  2. Do you have a desire to grow deeper in your faith and walk with Jesus? If not, why is that? And if so, what can you do to ACTUALLY take your faith to the next level?

  3. For this upcoming week, plan a time EACH day to pray the "Gospel Prayer." But don't just go through the motions - actually MEAN it and pray it by faith. Ask God to open your eyes to the things He wants to do in your life and any decisions He is asking you to make.
