A Faithful Generation – “Sin in the Camp” - Joshua  7:1-26 ESV

Often times in life we can be our own worst enemy. There is no doubt that Satan indeed prowls around seeking to kill and destroy our lives. However, even though as believers our sins are forgiven and we are forever secure, we still must deal with our flesh and the sin that dwells within us. It's important to note that just like in today's story, sin is never truly just personal - it also affects those around us. Because of this fact, it is DOUBLY important then that we cultivate a pattern of self-reflection, repentance, and restoration with Jesus, ourselves, and others.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Do you have any "secret sins" that you have not told anyone about? Who are 1-2 trusted people you could tell in order to begin the process of healing and victory?

  2. If you're being honest, who are the people in your life that your struggles/sins affect?

  3. What steps can you take to ACTUALLY begin to change and grow in that area(s)?
