“What is The Church?” Matthew 16:18 KJV

How would you define the word "church?" For the majority of people, the building where they go on a Sunday morning instantly comes to mind. But according to the Bible, the “church” is simply a group of people who have been saved by Jesus and called by Jesus to act like Jesus. And the more that we focus on THAT definition of "church," the more we will become what Jesus intended: His hands and feet here on Earth.

1. How can the biblical definition of church change and improve your walk with Christ?

2. Is there anyone you know of right now that has a need that you could meet? Why not reach out to them THIS week and meet their need to show them Jesus’ love.

3. Are you currently a part of a Christian “small group?” If yes, how can you grow deeper in your relationship with those individuals? If not, who can you reach out to in order to find one?
