“What TIME is IT?” Peter 4:1-4 ESV

The fascinating thing about human nature is we would all admit we "know" one day we are going to die but it doesn't really "feel" like that day will come. Life just seems like it will keep going on forever. However, if we don't realize NOW how short life truly is, we will waste the valuable time God has given us. In light of eternity - forever - 100 years on this Earth is not a lot of time at all. NOW is the time to change our way of thinking & living and we need to focus on what truly matters: to live each day growing closer to Jesus and telling others about Him before it's too late.

Reflection Questions:

  1. How much time per day/week would you honestly admit you spend doing a hobby, watching TV, using social media, etc? How much time per day/week would you say you spend "alone" time with Jesus?

  2. If you KNEW you were going to die tomorrow, how would that change what you do today? What if you did just ONE of those actions TODAY?

  3. Are there any changes you need to make in your life but you keep putting it off? Who can you ask TODAY to help you begin to make those changes?
