A Faithful Generation “Seeing is Believing” - Joshua 2:1-24 ESV

God's mercy and grace never ceases to be truly astounding. When we read of stories like that of Rahab, it is then we are reminded that God has shown the EXACT same grace to us. Rahab was a pagan prostitute deserving of judgment and wrath. But because of her faith and belief in the God of Israel, she was shown mercy and allowed to survive the impending siege of Jericho. May we never forget what Jesus has done for us and all who believe in Him once held a scarlet cord outside of the "window" of our lives.

Reflection Questions:

  1. How can we walk the line of living our lives in freedom and forgiveness and yet never becoming too prideful to forget where God brought us from?

  2. How can we show the same patience, mercy, and forgiveness that we've received to those who have deeply hurt us or upset us?
