“So Much More” Romans 5
Have you ever ordered something in the mail that you were SUPER excited for and you got a message that it was "running late"? That can be a very frustrating and disappointing feeling. On a more serious note, isn’t it SO reassuring to know that our God is NEVER late? He is ALWAYS on time. The greatest example and evidence of this can be seen in the cross of Jesus Christ. The Bible says "at the right time" Jesus died for the "ungodly." Who are the "ungodly"? It is me, you, and the entire world. And within this miraculous salvation, there are SO many more blessings and benefits that God wants us to discover and delight in!
Reflection Questions:
Scripture says ALL have sinned and fall short of God's glory. That means even the most "morally righteous" people are just as sinful as everyone else. How can this truth make us even more thankful and grateful for Jesus’ sacrifice?
For those who are followers of Jesus and have had their sins forgiven, it is IMPOSSIBLE to "out sin" the grace of God. How does this apply to our lives on a daily basis? Why should this make us want to sin even LESS?
Jesus said He came to give us life and life "more abundantly?" Would you say your life is "abundant" and "full of Jesus?" What steps can you take TODAY to begin to experience a deeper satisfaction in Jesus?
