Genesis 25 ”A Story Of Two Brothers”

A dictionary definition of the word "legacy" is "the long-lasting impact of particular events, actions, etc. that took place in the past or of a person’s life." The actions and decisions we make TODAY have the potential to affect our lives and others' lives for YEARS to come. Many of us don't want to think about death or dying. However, it is VITAL that we often think about our last day on Earth because that will affect the decisions we make in the here & now. It is especially important when it comes to the life after this one, namely where we will spend eternity and who we are trying to bring with us.

"Only one life will soon be past /
Only what's done for Christ will last." - C.T. Studd

Reflection Questions:

1. What things are you doing to make Jesus known? What do you do on a daily basis to make sure His Kingdom is glorified and not your own?

2. What do you want to be remembered for after you're gone? What would you want people to say your "legacy" was?

3. This life is so short and fleeting - we don't even know if we will wake up tomorrow. If you knew today was your last day on this Earth, what would you do? Why not do it TODAY then?
